Messias Oliveira

Messias hails from Bahia, the Afrocentric heart of Brazil where music and dance flow through the veins of the people. A Bahian pagodão dancer for 29 years, he had his first contact with dance when he was 11 years old and fell in love. He learned to dance with friends in the community where he lived and continued to train and began performing on stage.

His passion for Pagodão and the rhythms of Bahia keep him touch with his roots and homeland. He passionately shares his love for these genres and energia da Bahia in all his classes.
